We had the pleasure of meeting with Will and Lois Theilmann. Will's mother, Evilo, modeled for Harzfeld's in the mid-1920s, as in the above photo which appeared in the "brown" pages of the Kansas City Journal Post.

Green and white stripes were a signature of Harzfeld's from the early '40s when a new identity system was designed by Display Director, Erasmus (Ras) Beall (1912-1979).
