Welcome to our Blog on Harzfeld's

We're excited to share some of our research on Harzfeld's, a specialty store which started in downtown Kansas City, Missouri in 1891 as The Parisian Cloak Company. If you would like to share your memories of the store, please contact us, or reply to our posts.

Green and white stripes were a signature of Harzfeld's from the early '40s when a new identity system was designed by Display Director, Erasmus (Ras) Beall (1912-1979).
